Ohio Staters, Inc. strives to improve the university through unique voluntary service. We help Ohio State envision its future, facilitate change and promote its finest traditions. Ohio Staters not only provides a means to get involved in the university, but we also foster leadership skills and personal friendships that last a lifetime!

The Stater Elephant is the Ohio Staters' mascot! He was created by a fellow Stater years ago.
Stater Elephant watches over the office currently in the Shoeunion. He has also been on many trips around the WORLD! Who knows where he may show up next!?

The Tandori Chicken (Tandy) is a bronzed, rubber chicken. Our main business meeting, luncheon, used to be a served meal held in the Terrance Dining Room of The Ohio Union. Every Thursday, Staters could enjoy "Tandori Chicken" as a lunch choice. As a joke, a Stater bronzed a rubber chicken, now known as Tandy. Tandy is given out each week for something good or something funny a Stater has done.
