Ohio Staters, Inc. presents...
for more information & resources, check out... OSU Best Day of Your Life
Each day, thousands of students, faculty, and staff rush around campus, hurrying to and from classes, jobs, and meetings. As students we know today’s world is more demanding and competitive than ever. Through the late-night study sessions, long days at work, and even the crazy weekends, we forget to think about ourselves at times.
When was the last time you spent the day basking in the oval sun? Better yet, when was the last time you reflected on the things that really make you happy? It’s been a while I’m sure.
'Best Day of Your Life' is here to help fix that. It’s an initiative by Ohio State students, for Ohio State students.
The fact is, depression is no game, just listen to some of these facts:
Suicide is the third leading cause of death for those aged 15-24, and the second leading cause of death of college students.
Does that get you attention?
Other recent studies show that nearly half of all college students report feeling so depressed at some point in time that they have trouble functioning.
A lot of us have been there. The key is not letting it get the best of us.
Our goal is to remind students of the little things in life that make us smile. If you’re having trouble remembering these things, it’s time to start talking about it. We encourage you to stand up and help break down the stigma surrounding mental health. Fight the statistics!
Make every day the Best Day of your Life!
